Know your price before you start
Big tax apps show one price at the door and another at checkout. Pick what matches your year and see our published starting price, plus what a typical DIY app would charge for the same situation.
1. How did you earn this year?
2. Anything else apply?
DIY comparison uses published list prices for the 2026 filing season (TurboTax: Deluxe $79, Premium $139, plus $64 per state; prices change and discounts vary, so verify with the provider). Our starting prices match our pricing page; final pricing is one written quote after document review and is never based on refund size.
Is this calculator my final price?
No. It shows our published starting prices for your situation. Your final price comes as one written quote after we review your actual documents, and that quote is the price.
Do you charge based on my refund?
Never. We do not base fees on refund size. That practice is a red flag anywhere you see it.
Why do some situations say quoted after review?
Returns with credits, business activity, rentals, or multiple states vary in complexity. We quote those after a quick document review so the number is real, not a teaser.
Can the price change after I approve the quote?
Your quote is confirmed before preparation begins. If something material changes, for example an added schedule or a second state, we talk with you first and you decide.
