Got an IRS letter? We review it and explain it in plain English.
What our office does
- Reads every page of your letter (CP2000, CP14, LT11, Letter 525, 4800C, 12C, and more)
- Explains in plain English what the IRS is asking
- Points out the response deadline printed on the letter
- Lists the documents the letter asks for and your general options
What we do not do
We do not represent you before the IRS, call the IRS for you, or negotiate for you. You send any reply yourself. If your letter needs someone to deal with the IRS directly, we tell you to contact a CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney.
How it works
- Tell us about the letter on our short form
- We text or email you a private, encrypted upload link for the letter
- A preparer reviews it and calls to explain it, usually within one business day
- You send your reply to the IRS yourself, using the checklist we give you
Pricing
IRS letter review is quoted after review. You get a free quote, confirmed in writing, before any paid work starts. If the letter shows your return needs an amendment, we can quote that separately.
FAQ
Will you talk to the IRS for me?
No. We review your IRS letter and explain it; we do not speak to the IRS for you. If you need that, contact a CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney.
How fast must I respond to an IRS letter?
Most IRS letters give 30 days and some give 90. Do not ignore them. Send yours and we will point out the deadline printed on it.
What if I owe and cannot pay?
The IRS has options such as payment plans and offers in compromise. We explain in general terms what each one is. You or your representative deal with the IRS.
Do I have to come into an office?
No. Everything works by phone, text, email, and secure link.
Calm, clear, and honest
